La chiesa di Cristo Re fu costruita nel 1934 grazie alle donazioni e all’impegno degli abitanti dell’omonima contrada.
Il nome della contrada Cristo Re ha subìto variazioni nel corso del tempo. Originariamente, prendeva il nome dalla masseria “Lama di Corvo”; in seguito fu denominata “Tagliamento” e solo dopo la costruzione della Statua del Cristo, avvenuta nel 1939, divenne definitivamente Cristo Re. La festa della contrada si svolge la seconda domenica di luglio.
La Santa Messa viene celebrata ogni domenica alle ore 18.00.
Thanks to the financial commitments of the inhabitants of the homonymous country district, the church of Cristo Re was built in 1934.
